If at home, while irritating, I would pick it out and eat. We all bathe so I have little concern for safety. If eating while out at a restaurant, I would return the meal. Unless I noticed it was my own darn hair that fell out. It is not really logical to be disgusted but it actually would stop me from eating my meal. It happens but I would rather it was not on my plate.
If I cooked the food, which is the case 99% of the time, I just take the hair out because it's most likely mine. If I'm in a restaurant I guess I'm not sure, but I'd definitely be grossed out.
I used to put it on the fork and then offer my sons mom a bite of my meal..................but that was well after the detest and hate settled in
^ haha.. The last thing you want to do is send a meal back. Just pick it out and eat the food. That's why we have immune systems. If anything, send it back and leave.
If I am at a restaurant I would send it back. I paid for the meal and service and don't see why I should be OK with a hair in my food that isn't my own.
Depending on where one is, obviously determines what you do. At a restaurant, you politely say that you would like to return the food and have one without hair. When you're at home, you just see it and put it in the bin or something.
