What's the most recent change you've made to your hair? My mom wants me to change mine and go back to blonde. So tommorow I'm going to go get mine stripped and get all the brown low-lites taken out and then get ash blonde highlites and carmel colored low-lights added. She wants me to get it cut to my chin but I think I'm just going to get a trim as I love my long hair. Anywho, what does your hair look like now and have you considered changing or made any changes recently?

I cut my long, blonde hair up between my chin and shoulders about four months ago. I then dyed it red, which faded into an ugly brassy shade. I tried correcting that with a boxed blonde, which turned my hair yellow. I thought maybe I didn't leave the dye on long enough, so I tried again a few weeks later with little change. So I've been giving my hair a rest for a while now. I bought some rich semipermanent violet dye (manic panic) to add to my conditioner to counteract the yellow, and that has been working out pretty well. But I miss my natural light blonde. I did, however, finally realize why the blonde dyes didn't give me the results I wanted; they didn't have a strong enough lift; I'm going to have to break out the bleach if I want my hair light again. And I might just do that sometime in the near future.

In terms of length, it's been an awesome change having shorter hair. I cut it myself, and every so often I'll take a razor to it to chop up the layers; rather addicting, actually. But I think I look better with longer hair so I'm allowing it to grow out. One thing cutting my hair did allow me to see was how fast my hair actually grows, which is good considering my situation.

AHha.. I have done sooo much with my hair during the past year... I had long hair, dreadlocks TWICE..a pixie cut, long hair again, shaved my head, let it grow, dyed it pink, dyed it hot pink, mohawk'd it.. shaved it again.. now it's in a pixie cut again. haha

that's my most recent.. it uh.. grew. And its my natural colour.

last noticeable change? probably three years ago, when I chopped off my long blonde hair into a shoulder-length fire engine red. yeah, that was fun

I think I'm gonna start dying my hair brown now, that sort of auburn half brown half red colour. and get progressively lighter with the browns i use, until it's possible to lighten my hair back to being blonde. I miss being blonde, even if it does make me look washed out sometimes. I'm also really tempted to chop off all my hair, make it super short (like, two inches short) but my hair might be too fine to pull it off, my face too round/heart shaped for it to really work

I have the same face shape as you, we both have really high cheek bones. Yeah I for sure don't think I can pull off chin length hair like my mom suggests. I had chin length hair my senior year in high school but I was still really young and lanky and my face wasn't as round so it looked kinda tomboyish and cute where now it would just look uhm i dont know poofy kinda i think. im going to get it cut right below my shoulders like last time and get the colorist to do trilites of ash blonde, carmel and a couple of platinum blonde streaks to brighten my face up.

I've done some massives changes to my hair but not so much lately.. It's been dyed dark brown for the past.. oh I don't even know, quite a few years. My natural colour is blonde. My hair was pretty long but then I chopped over 20 centimeters off on christmas eve coz I got bored of it. But now I miss my long hair again. :(

you have a perfect face though so short hair suits you and shows it off.

I just a couple of weeks ago put in a bottle of Clairol Natural Blonde. It's amazingly lighter than it was. I also had my formerly parted in the middle mid back length layered. So far I'm loving it. But then again I did this for myself. It sounds like you are getting talked itno this by your Mom. I think that I would feel differetnly about this if it wasn't my idea.

well, I cut off about 5 inches recently, because I had dyed it so many times in the last year, and then the last 6 months did nothing to it, so my roots were terrible.

So now, I have a bit more of the bleaching left in, about 2 inches from the tips. It's a little longer than chin length, layered, and my natural colour. I'm hoping it will grow quite a bit between now and August, when I get married.

I've always had red hair since I'm 15. Literally every shade of red ever made that I found-manic panic, copper, burgundy, strawberry blone, eggplant red- even henna reds. Well I went blonde this past summer & kept it blonde til last week now I'm red again. Its actually a deep copper but still has some crayon red in it for fun;) It is so great to be back, blonde just doesn't fit my personality. I also did get a trim recently. However I've been growing my hair out forever I kinda have the itch to cut it. I think I am going to wait though. Next winter, I will be graduating college & will be thrust into the working world, so I decided I'm gonna go to rapunzels before I go for any big interviews. Rapunzels is a really upscale place around here. They truly are professionals & will do what will look good on you. But they do a lot of freaky stuff too. I'm gonna save up to go there because everywherelse around here sucks or my hair ends up being uneven.
