GW vs. WoW

ok.. i played WoW for about 8months of my life.. was looking at Guild Wars today.. need something to eat up my time while i go through my journey of soberness... some say GW is better than WoW others disagree.. can anyone compare the two for me?

 

or maybe there is another MMO you could suggest?

I've played both GW and WoW and liked GW a lot more. It actually has a plot and storyline with missions so you're doing more than just trying to level up and get gold.

 

yea. I tend to lean diablo on the MMO side of the RPG label considering it's not really like a final fantasy type rpg... but it really isnt quite a MMO. Diablo 3 is expected to be MMO, however. im stooooked!

 

I would recommend guild wars. I found it to be a great game and very entertaining. I have never played WoW, but I do have diablo 2 and the game is not that great. It was good when it first came out, but after 10 years, it lacks a lot. It also greatly pales in comparison to guild wars.

its the best ever.. seriously. try it out. bit too difficult at first but if you grudge your way through the begginin its the best game eva.

 

hey man star wars : old republic will be coming out. it will be in the knights of the old republic era and will be an MMO.

supposed to kick ass....... sometime in 2010 =)
