My last guitar case, I colored and wrote quotes on, with metallic markers that were made to write on black. It turned out kinda cool, I liked it. But I'd like to try something different now, and make a collage of magazine clippings and photos on my guitar case.
My question is, instead of taping or gluing all the pictures on there, is there some kind of clear coat I could put over the whole thing, or sections at a time, to make it all stay on... and possibly waterproof it, so when I'm carrying it around in the rain, it won't get ruined?

    Any ideas would be appreciated.

    Thanks!

most art stores sell a variety of different coatings from shellac to urethane ...i use this on my painted furniture...dont be afraid to really use a lot,1 coat at a time....3m makes a spray adhesive that you can stick the pics on with and then spray the whole thing in clear coat...post pics when you are done
