Peter Dinklage, possibly the most famous dwarf actor at the moment.



I was with some friends on Broadway and 13th, right outside the movie theater, and I saw him! I looked extra close to make sure it was him as I passed, and he glanced over at me and gave me the most scornful look ever. I mean, if looks could kill.

 

So he's a tripod?

I thought that was just a myth about midgets.

you know, you're probably right. I do believe Dinklage has had more media buzz in recent years though.

I didn't just glance at him, I definitely looked long enough to verify that it was him. I wasn't surprised if he seemed pissed, because dwarves don't like being stared at, and celebrities generally don't like being stared at, so I can understand if my gawking rubbed him the wrong way.

Peter Dinklage has quite a resume which includes a BA from Bennington College in Vermont, to studying at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts in London and the Welsh School of Music and Drama in Wales



But for all of his hard work and determination the most he can hope in this world of prejudice is to play the role of a loveable little dwarf in a children’s movie, or an evil troll, or leprechaun in a horror flick
