but I'm not gonna like it.... i'm in a shit week where I have to force it on myself and cry and whine about it the entire time... I don't get it, i can go for weeks sometimes -all hardcore pushing myself beyond my limits, and then there's weeks like this where I'd rather punch myself in the face then get on that tread mill...... how do you keep yourself motivated to work out???
sex is the biggest work out I get and even that usually consists of me laying there getting bounced on.
Absolutely I'd say do an exercise diary. And train hard 3 days a week only.( maybe gentle exercise at other times).Proper nutrition.Train smart. Rest every 8 weeks or so.Good music on the Ipod. And *only* do what u enjoy.
I get like that too, believe me. There are days I absolutely dread working out, I mean, I'll want to start crying because I just don't feel like doing it, but I still push through and I'm always glad I did afterwards. My motivation is that I thoroughly enjoy how my body looks from my dedicated work outs. I think about the times when I was out of shape and how unhappy I was with the way my body looked, and know that I don't want to feel like that again. I like being told what great shape I'm in because I worked hard for it after having had all the kids, and being able to buy a size 4 jeans at 30 years old as a mother of 3 feels pretty darn good too I must admit. It's hard though sometimes, I know. Right now one of my motivations is that I have a big social to go to the end of next month, in which case I'll be decked out in some type of clingy evening wear yet to be decided, and I want to look smokin' hot. Anyway, I've come to look at my work outs as simply part of the daily routine, like brushing your teeth. Just something that needs to be done.
Seen a post above saying a buddy system, yes, it is alot of help to have a buddy there to work out with ya. Find a way to make it fun, listen to music that gets the adrenaline pumpin!
i don't work out i train and no, this is not semantics, there is a huge difference between "working out" vs training
it was easy back when i had a reason to do it. i played football, thus i was expected to go to 3 of the 6 scheduled weekly sessions. then i graduated and no longer had any real reason, so i stopped exercising and started drinking heavily instead. so i guess my advice is to start drinking heavily.
Depending who the person is, working out while high could be dangerous. I sometimes get really weak when I do it which might result of x number of lbs stuck on your throat or something.
Ha I see, I have a buddy that smokes often before working out. Now all he does are opiates, shit like OCs and what not, I'm sure that does help...A LOT!
