Last I heard guardianship reform isn't going anywhere in Michigan. Some people are blocking it, including a group that claims to advocate for seniors and the disabled. But you know, people of Michigan, and other states. Secret guardianship could be used against anyone with a mental, and anyone declared incompetent. And as the courts become more and more conservative, especially with with your idiot Trump in the White House, both of those are going to be easier and easier to prove. Old people who have one too many cats. Just one. But they're family wants an easy way to get rid of them, and get their money. Maybe they forget their medicine once. Maybe some made up illness like Geriatric Profanity Disorder. And disobedient kids and argumentative elderly people. They'll be declared under secret guardianship and spend the rest of their lives not knowing it, while their possessions mysteriously disappear. I look forward to it.
