while i was pulling up the radishes, i saw probly 15 - 20 grubs what does veryone do for grub control????
I haven't had this problem myself, but I think parasitic nematodes are the answer. First you'll need to find out what the grubs are the grubs of. Usually they're the larva stage of an insect. For general info try: http://www.victorpest.com/faq/worms.htm http://www.laters.com/plants/radishes.htm For parasitic nematodes try: http://www.gardensalive.com/ Good luck...
ooooooo . . . . thanks i have grubs that are shiny red. beetle size. shiny black / blue ones too. there making my radishes turn all black and brused. so much for them. i have the garden at my moms, and the house was built only 15-18 yrs ago, and even though it use to be all farm land here, the soil is not very fertile, very dry, chicken shit tea is the only thing i can think of, but even that is not doing to well
