why does minnesota have to have some of the most fucked up weather.. last two weeks were GREAT!!! i was fishing every damn day for 2 weeks straight.. then this shit.. 30F at night... highs of 40.. WTF!!!... if theres one thing i hate about minnesota its the fucked up weather... i wanna FISH!!! wish i had my trout stamp.. at least i could get some good trout fishing in

Ahhhh! The Memories those temps bring back. 3 foot drifts, but with them temps, it was sox & T-shirt walking. Home coming year for me.
i know what yo mean i live in rochester and it can go from being in the high 70s to 40 degrees in a week

Oh no worries, I'm sure you'll be able to get some ice fishing done in no time! Yeah, the weather is less than what I desire, but I'm thankful for everyday there is no snow on the ground. At least this year I'll get to escape the northern cold. Time to start breaking out the winter jackets and boot everybody!!! I keep telling myself this is the LAST MN winter I will endure...
sorry.. but i believe there is an off season for every sport.. even fishing... and that comes when the water is frozen... last winter i never even wore a real jacket... most i wore was a fleece lined hoodie that i own.. and i walked to the bars and whatnot all the time in it... but from what the Farmers Almanac is saying for this winter... i may get a jacket... supposed to be one harsh winter this year

I'm from Minn. but now live out west. The weather here is great, much warmer than Mn, but you should hear em bitch around here! Be thankful it gets cold- keeps the riff raff out.
I luv all of MN seasons!! THere so much you can do, being from small town-I can find fun in nothing. Just need some imagination. But the cold can be a biatch
