Growing super long hair?

Not sure if this is the right place, but I was wondering if there's anything specifically I can do to grow my hair longer. My hair is about shoulder length, and seems to be growing slower than when I first started growing my hair eight years ago.

 

Put semen in yr hair as much as possible.

 

Can you at least try to post something relevant?

 

I think that hair growth gradually slows down, although I'm not sure. From my hair-growing experience, all I can say is "let it grow."

So, is that whole "having hair braided makes it grow quicker" statement a myth or what?

 

I can tell you from my experiences (hip length hair right now, has been longer before... ), it does make a difference. Using soft hairties, making buns, keeping your hair in braids, it all helps to cut down on deterioration (split ends, to actual tearing and breaking) of the hair due to it getting caught on stuff like chairs, in doors, you sitting on it, whatever.

 

So sorry. I do it for the lulz. Let me put my habit back on and do twenty-five hail marys for showing mirth.

If anything, it makes it grow slower, because your hair isn't moving around, hence the follicles aren't being stimulated, blood doesn't get to 'em as much, etc etc.

Though, I mean... you would look SUPER cool with some braids.

 

Doesn't get much cooler than Coolio. You know, other than the Big Boss Dogg.

It all depends on Gene's. I have been trying to grow my hair out for 2 years now and i is only shoulder length. Thin hair is one issue my moms side of the family has and does I.

At least this is what I have found.

I'd probably have to go with Burnt and say that its genes cuz my hair goes pretty fast(as in i have to dye it constantly because my roots come in so fast) and I do nothing but damage it with coloring obviously and hair products straightening it blow drying it and so on and it still grew from my jaw down to my butt in a little over a year and i get about an inch or so cut off every three months. i dunno maybe if you damage the hell outta it like i do it'll grow fast lol

 

Lol, or maybe I'll come back on the forums one day to report I'm completely bald.

 

just make sure you tri a half an inch off of your hair every 3-4 months to keep the dead ends off and use conditioner often. healthy hair grows fast.
