You know I was talking with someone recently, I think it was my therapist. And it was about changes I thought should be made where I live. Especially with my case. Changes in the law and in policy too.Certain groups deserve special protection. Because they are vulnerable. Not weak, but vulnerable. And maybe they are just vulnerable because they are often the targets of attacks, no other reason. And therefore they should get special protection legally. More protection, a better status legally. And enhanced penalties if you break the law by violating their rights. Now I don't think they should have less of a status obviously. There is a big difference there. But I have compiled a list of groups that deserve this special status and protection: • Children. • The handicapped, physically and mentally. • Women. • The elderly. I think that group is complete. Does anyone here know of any group that could be added to it? Also, I know where I live there are crimes that give enhanced penalties for attacking someone due to things like race or ethnicity. But I don't include that here because I think I am talking about something else. I'm sure there are already things like this in the law. Special status and protections for these groups. Aren't there? Could there be more? Could they be better?
Well, I would like to be a nudist in public. I think I would be harassed for my preference if I choose to express it. I can't be the only one. I would like to see special legal protections for my group. Not just against prosecutions but also from people harassing me about being nude in public, making disparaging remarks, or discrimination like not letting me into certain places because of my dressing preferences.
If you got your wish, would you then want to destroy other people's freedom of allowing their dogs off the lead in public.
