Ground rules?

So 4 friends, my girlfriend and I are going to drop some acid, and we are all first-timers. We had this idea that half of us would do it one night, and the other half another night, so we'd be able to look after each other. Do you think this is a good idea? Also, we had an idea that we make some sort of list of rules or things to remember during the trip, to avoid bad trips, like remember that you are in control, or something like that. Can someone give me some suggestions?

 

Also, are there any tips for first time tripping? And I've heard that acid should be kept cold. How long does it last? Thanks.

 

You are not ready to trip, do some research beore you novicely jump into something far beyond your comprehension. Also, you're 14 years old? Wait til your 16 or even 18. LSD is nothing to be tossed around lightly, and when it is being tossed around lightly, I get pissed off and ready to kill any ignorant piece of shit in this god forsaken world that arrogantly enters a place where they aren't allowed.

 

You should all just take it in the same night.

You wont do anything crazy, have a "home base" (a safe place where you can just chill and not be bothered). Designate this spot as your safe point to go to. You'll probably spend the majority of your time here, so make sure you have everything you need already in there.

Having people look after you really isn't necessary. If you take acid and have some of your friends stay sober, all night you are going to be saying "You should have dropped with us!!"

 

Based on the age of the person posing the question, I have to side with Lein in that you should wait, preferably until 18.
But as for doing research first, that is not a requirement. Doing research in fact tends to sway people into expecting a certain effect and following a perscription for how to ride the trip, like set and setting structuring and Leary's volumes of advice. Not that they are bad guidelines to follow, but some people tend to abide by them far too religiously.
I was 15 when I first tried both mushrooms and LSD, had no idea what to expect, and immediatley, naturally, allowed them to chart the course while I flowed into that head space. As long as you trust your friends, realize that your not going to die and your mind will return to normal in 12 hours, and remain calm if you start getting uncomfortable, you should be fine. Research all you want if you have the means, but in reality nothing can prepare you for that first overwhelming transition.
Be safe and dont make this choice on a whim.

you ever stop to think maybe it's not a positive thing to hurl your negativity about something that makes you angry..even if it does affect you negatively? instad of jumping on someone with a question? tell me..how much "research" does someone have to do before lsd is no longer "beyond comprehension"? is there any amount of reading that can prepare you for a real experience? and who exactly is "allowed"? when did you become keeper to the gates of lsd?

Icecream how much are you each planning on taking? Take atleast two and have everyone do it the same night. If its not strong (most i see isnt) one wont really do anything so take three or four.

I'm not 14. I've made 14 posts. I'm 18 years old. I just did some background reading, and I've got a few rules written down. But any further tips are still helpful. I have the house to myself the next couple of nights, so I think we'll all do it then. I'm now convinced that it's probably better to do it all at once. Thanks for your tips guys. I was planning on just taking 1 tab each, because money is an issue. I also don't think taking 3 is a good idea. Who does that? Are you for rizzle?

 

Three is not the end of the world but you won't regret taking 2 together. Let the tabs just melt in your mouth.

Save the last tab for another day.
