anyone hear of this movie yet?????? it looks so insane. rose mcgowan playes a stripper who loses her leg, but then its replaced with a machine gun. there has been alot of hype about this movie for the past couple of months, especially on the station I listen to out of kansas city (98.9)
I think Quentin Tarantino has been the best thing to happen to cinema for awhile. I'll watch it for sure.
Eh, I hate Tarantino with a passion. Maybe just because I don't think he belongs on screen, and because I'm not a fan of his particular style. Whatever it is...bleh. He seems like a douche. Then again, to make it in Hollywood, you've gotta be full of yourself. I may eventually see it, but doubtfully at the theatre. I'll rent it eventually.
im looking forward to it, im definitely gonna waqtch it... but i think the hype is probably better than the movie itself. thats how holywood usually operates
looks really retarded, but thats the theme they were going for, make it more over the top than anything ever before. it will be interesting to see i think...
Gone With The Wind was shit. Anyhow, they are trying to make a movie with a Cult following. It won't happen.
Blah, Blah, Blah. Tarantino has desperately been trying to come out with a cult movie in the last 5ish years, he's out of the loop on them... loooooosing his touch. This movie is no Pulp Fiction, lets put it this way.
Speaking of Tarantino- I just recieved True Romance in the mail today which sadily I did not even know until recently was one of Terantino's films. Sadily is because I own all of the other ones, except for the Kill Bill movies which I hate with a blazing passion. Grindhouse...eh..... I'll watch it and then decide. A bit sketchy on it as it is.
don't care for him. trying to hard which completely takes away from this whole "cult" director he is trying to be. bleh.
Yeah it all defiantly was way down the hill by the time Kill Bill came out. And I forgot, I don't own Hostel either, though I've seen it. It was mediocre and only mediocre.
okay, you guys............ this isnt really a tarratino film. he co-wrote the movie, yes, but he didnt direct it....... its a rodriguez/roth film....... and no one said its going to be the next pulp fiction.... and since when have you ever heard two movies in one?? not me. sounds quite entertaining to me.
It's just a marketing idea... you must remember that this movie's main purpose is to make lots and lots of money. This is no Cannes pick. Rodriguez's movies are awfully entertaining, and stupid... yes, stupid.
