A scared populace is an easy-to-control populace.

Nobody is saying there are no environmental problems harming this planet. But to pretend that climate change is the one and only environmental problem, and that we are not allowed to debate the claims and predictions is just plain ignorant and fascistic.

The ruling globalist class will use environmental fear tactics to rob the world of our freedom and liberty. Giving up liberty for security.

I have a hard time believing the people pushing this crap actually believe the shit they say. Seeing that Obama just bought a $4 million oceanfront home. And how many climate alarmists cruise in private yachts and personal aircraft. As they vilify the rest of us for owning a small gas powered vehicle.

The thing about nature is that it is never in a linear balance. Populations change and migrate. For example, my parents have a wild turkey problem on their property. Yet all my childhood growing up there, I never saw any wild turkeys whatsoever.

 

You are welcome to if you can show any evidence to the contrary that it occurs. Since you can not and for decades evidence shows it does occur people move on.

There is no "debate" since you offer no ideas. What you have done is get so upset that a certain type of person accepts this you decide to see it as a politcal issue.

What "control" is there in a clean world? Taxes right? A tax on goods and certain industries controlling their income. What a sad outlook.

 

You often post pointless statements in an attempt to be insulting, such as with the "soy" nonsense in this or the other climate thread. I don't think this is debate. If you say "it's not like there isn't a problem" and it's just the extremest message you hate, then why waste breath attacking the extreme and seeming extreme yourself, just discuss what the problems are then, and how to fix them.

If or when you have concrete examples of this in action, I'd love to hear about them.

Eugenics was a politicized science. There were eugenics courses taught in universities prior to the Holocaust. Just as there are climate change courses taught today. It was a government sponsored program that led to the sterilization of the mentally ill, African Americans, Native Americans and eventually genocide of European Jews. Anyone who questioned eugenics was a heretic the same way anyone who questioned global warming was a heretic.

Bill Nye the soyence guy says those who question global warming’s doomsday predictions should be put in jail. He would’ve been an advocate for eugenics if he was alive in the 1920s.

 

You’re fearful of the unproven hypothesis of global warming’s outcome. If you’re willing to pay an economy-destroying carbon tax to end this, then you believe in climate fear.

Science disproved any real differences in race. So this does not apply to global warming. No new data can disprove it. You seem to be going on on your typical buzz word nonsense. It's quite a stretch to say he would support eugenics. He's not a racist but what was "racist" was different than. He probably would have read the research but we can't say if he would support it. Those ideas were not nearly as accepted as global warming is. It was an idea that people read headlines and half truths and fit into their own world view.

AKA what you are doing now and not real science. Like it's not settled science since we can find one guy who is paid by the oil industry to say so. So when it fits there you use the scientific method and ignore the massive concusses.

It's not a hypothesis anymore. We know it's happening and only dispute the extreme damage in extremity. Some things sure can only be speculated until observed but not the idea that it IS occurring. I'm not sure you understand what a hypothesis is in the sense of this whole argument. If you want to argue semantics and find studies (which by the way support my claim) that say they are hypothesis written recently it proves my point. You would see the headline and right word and not the specific topic. It's proven far beyond enough for science.

You seem to suggest we have no evidence. It's fall now I'm sure the right wing zinger is since it's going to snow how is it is "hot"? We changed the name to climate change so dumb asses like that would hopefully see the bigger picture of extreme weather changes. They did not.

Who is pretending it is the one and only environmental problem exactly? And... not allowed to debate claims and predictions? It gets debated all the fucking time. Maybe not always with you (although plenty of times) but that would be because you charge, exaggerate and repeat the same stuff too much (not only on the climate change topic but in general on serious societal topics). Can't blame people for just resorting to sighs and ridiculing sometimes then.

Ad Hominem is a logical fallacy where someone attacks a person on character or something irrelevant to their arguments, suggesting that the something irrelevant to the argument undermines their position. 6-eyed used to have "Ad Hominem receiver" as his title, as if he gets such attacks levied against him, so I find it ironic he uses the "soy" insults.

 

The University of Iowa has a coal-fired power plant . Greta has arrived in Iowa City to join a student protest focused on that . Iowans pronounce Thunberg as
toon-berg . Tun translates as "fence" and berg as "mountain" .

 

She's perfectly correct to do so, it isn't necessary to utilise coal-fired power stations anymore when we have alternative technology that doesn't produce so much Carbon dioxide venting into the atmosphere.
