Hi folks. Newbie. Obviously. Terrible at introductions. Erm. ... how about a list? I'm 23 and live in N-E England with my girlfriend in a studio student apartment; I'm part Polish, part English, part Scottish... have lived in north-east England all my life, can just about fake a decent-ish Scottish accent (don't ask why I'd want to; it's a quirk) and speak less Polish than I would like; I am terrible at forums. You wouldn't believe how many I've joined and wandered away from. Here's hoping I stick around here. I have seventeen active piercings (eighteen if you count an industrial as two separate piercings), three tattoos and until a year or so ago sported a deep green streak in my over-long hair and for some odd reason, people still tend to peg me as responsible (it's possibly the well-spoken accent I've got going on); I'm studying English Language & Linguistics with a minor in Education, with a view to eventually lecturing in Linguistics; I write (decently, usually in high/urban/dark fantasy sorts of genres), draw (half-decently), play the flute (badly) and work leather (amateurishly, but I'm learning!); and I'm utterly lost around here. Any pointers are greatly appreciated! Questions? Ask. Feel free. I know I'm terrible at introductions. ;P

you're right that intro was terrible..it had those talking points type of bbcode in it that made it look like a copy/paste job welcome to hipforums
