We had them here in Lancashire, luckily enough, no deaths.. funny old year of freaky weather..

And Spain. Portugal seems to have deadly ones every year also.

 

brush fires?...the article clearly says arsonists started the fires simultaneously in order to loot homes?.....was helped by the heat wave

It happens ever year in Greece, Portugal, Croatia.

But many people in Greece were killed this year and that's sad and disturbing.
