Is anyone going to Nelson Ledges in Ohio for the Grateful fest?

    http://www.nlqp.com/

It sure would be cool to meet up with some hipforums family while I am there!

Oh, I've heard SO much about Nelson Ledges.. Never been there, though. *sigh* Gotta get a way for the 'rents to let me go, though.

Ask the 'rents to take you maggot...or tool which do you prefer?

My mom used to take us to dead shows when we were kids:) it's actually nice to have a responsible grown up driving when you are tripping balls...course my mom did'nt know, she thought we had just been drinking.

    *sigh*

I finaly got all the dough together to buy the ticket and they are'nt selling them online yet...doh.

Have you bought tickets before Stranger? Is there going to be a rush on them when they go on sale Friday? I'd hate to have to sneak in, the money is for such a good cause.

How often do you get up there?

Well, my mum's out of her mind, so I don't fancy spending any time with her. She's anti-everything. Drinking, music, parties, having fun, basically EVERYTHING at Nelson's Ledges. I would be afraid to be myself or even have fun if I went with her.

I suppose that would bring anyone down. Three years can seem like a life time...but in retrospect it won't be long till you get to make your own decisions.

I'd be saving my money and plotting what i would do with my freedom when you turn 18. I am 34 and this is my first time going there, so you have time:)

Sorry your mom is so oppressive. Parents can make the growing up process even harder, i wish it was'nt like that.

    Hey friends,
I was wondering how many of you planned on going to Gratefulfest this summer?! I've never been, but I just recently learned about it and it sounds like IT. For those who have never heard of it it's 3 days of camping and running around with Dark Star Orchestra and a handful of friends! Apparently it happens in Nelson Ledges Quarry Park in Ohio. Ohboyohboyohboyohboy. I don't know how I'm getting to Ohio but it's happening.

Man, there is really not much online info on it as far as I can tell, but I found out it's at NLQP in Ohio, and thats a pretty specific campsite, so it should be sufficient to find it just knowing that. Last year it was only $65 for all three days! And the dates and times and whatnot I dont believe are confirmed yet for this year, but keep checking!!
