Over the summer of 2008, I had the opportunity to work with photographer Peter Simon, brother to Carly Simon, as a personal assistant/intern. I was very inspired by his work and would like to share his Grateful Dead photos with the Dead community. Peter Simon was a close friend of Jerry's, so he was able to capture a rare inside look into the bands history that others simply did not have access to. He shared many a joint with the man, as he went on tour with the band numerous times! I was blown away by his original, silver gel shots of the band.
