    Oh, yeah...Grandpa Jones! I used to watch him on Hee Haw with my parents. Hee Haw was some good television.

    I do a song of his called "Been All Around This World." Come to think of it, Garcia did too, though my version is more like Hot Rize's.

    I like his song "Mountain Dew".

    Grandpa Jones was a regular on the Grand Ole Opry for many years and died in 1998 at the age of 84. In 1978 he was inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame. A great old-time ballad singer and banjo player, he was very well-known and liked during his lifetime, and his recordings are still very popular.

    Yep! he never showed disrespect and never talked down to anyone. Could sing true Bluegrass all day long.
