Here's something I was contemplating earlier on whilst soaking in the bath (yes the mind does tend to wander somewhat when relaxing). Despite masturbation being one of, if not the singlemost concious activity undertaken in the whole world, there doesn't appear to be a singlular or plural verb to describe the act, without having to revert to slang expressions (of which the terms are abundant). For instance, whereas one might use a slang expression, such as "One Wank", Two Wanks" (or similar), the equivalent "One Masturbation", "Two Masturbations" does not seem to hold grammatically true without adding something like "Session" to it (i.e. "One Masturbation Session", "Two Masturbation Sessions"). I've Googled this, and looked it up on Dictionary.com, but found nothing that could explain this. Is there some other grammatical synonym that I'm missing?
