How good are this band ??

I think they're the best band in the world at the moment. The tunes are superbly written and played, they throw awesome covers in and Warren and Matt are just legends.

I was lucky enough to see them in London a few weeks back, i can't wait until they tour Europe again, i've heard rumours it might be as soon as September !!

    What a band!!!!!!!!!

Can you tell they wanted to grow up and play in a power trio? Did it, too.
Haven't seen then since Allen Woody died, but they were fun, if not my scene.

I think they are another gotta see 'em live thing.
Warren Haynes is absolutely amazing when he stretches out and wails.
    but it was power rock.

I wouldn't bother with the studio albums much. They'll give you a slight idea, but you have to experience the mule live. There's really nothing like it these days. Warren is damn good... actually, all of them are damn good. I never saw them with Allen Woody.

I'm also going to see the Allman Brothers July 15th. I just saw Gov't Mule on June 7th. Warren Haynes kicks ass... he always seems to be touring with someone or working on something. I saw them with Yonder Mountain and Xavier Rudd. Warren came out and played slide with YMSB... introduced the bands and whatnot. I love gov't mule and all the allman related musicians.
