government accused of discrimination over its latest advice on how to deal with the covid pandemic

Yesterday a leading organisation representing the elderly accused the government of discriminating against the elderly over its latest advice on how to best deal with the covid pandemic.
A spokesperson said 'while it has shown that in a lot of cases isolation has caused some issues for the elderly, they have been able to manage it, however due to the fact that most elderly people have mobility and joint issues, the new policy of 'stick your head between your legs and kiss your arse goodbye' is clearly discriminatory.
