Much as we don't like them, they're just as expresive of their personalities as us- just in a slightly freaky, attention-gathering individual group way. Just don't try to talk to them- the ones I knew thought the devil was coming through their mother to raid Earth or something. Kyle
hahaha lolz. Emo kidz...girl pants nuff said. and i'm not knocking the right to wear girls pants. The underlaying reason...that's what makes me want to punch a baby (jokin) Goths...depends I know this one cat, slick as silk, and I have only his views to go on so...
How does that make you feel? is that hate eating you like a spiritual cancer? probably not, you probably dont even hate them but for whatever reason i'd wager that statement makes you feel like a normal person, seems like the correct thing to feel, right?
Most goths and emo-kids are just exploring adolescents. Most of them leave that lifestyle behind when they get in their twenties. There's no reason to hate kids that get in another subculture than you. However, the begging for attention that normally seems to go with it annoys me too. But I see other kids do that as well.
I find it amusing how these social groups feel the need to proclaim their individuality by looking different, but through that process they end up looking almost exactly alike. How ironic... Well, whatever works for em. To each their own.
Recently I wondered if goth is like about , say, what yoga is about , giving up attachment to reach happiness. The ones i see look so peaceful and like , humble. And that emo is just the ones who try... and see it as a trend. It does kind of ressemble goth.
i like their style, i guess. something different. but their defeatest attitudes and mopiness sorta bugs. if they dress all pretty like that and can be seen having a good time, then i consider them good little pets and approve whole-heartedly.
you made me snort, while i had rice and beans in my mouth. hence the rice and beans made is freakishly close to my eye socket. well done, bsr, very well done.
100% agreed, dude. They're just exploring different subcultures and different parts of themselves. Let them grow their own way; you did.
tha biggest problems I have with emos and goths are that they are always being depressed or with emos a lot say they cut themselves. Isn't it hard enough to be a teenager without people cutting themselves and thinking depression is cool? I used to be goth and I felt terrible because I was always in black (not that, that bothered me) and I was always unhappy. Enough depression comes with being teenage, don't create more by becoming goth or emo or anything else that portrays cutting ones self or depression as something desireable.
my high school goths were so romantical. lol. their hair and makeup was so pretty and dramatic. they wore frilly socks. and who DIDN'T like the cure?
Haha, I hope you understand there are quite a lot goths and emokids out there who are not depressed, cutting themselves or displaying those things.
I know but to the advage kid who hasnt seen a real emo or goth that what they believe is glamorized. Like in my school when I wore all black, (just coz my john lennon shirt was black) people said I was goth and cut myself. When people think of goth or emo thats the first thing the usually think about.
