Anyone else use it to find cow fields? It works wonders haha

If you just fidn out the names of a few wealthy people who are big in agriculture in your town (The Drossi family in Lutz (Upper Tampa area)) and punch it in...their fields come up :D

Hmm, I'm willing to expose my ignorance a bit here: what type of mushrooms grow in the cow pastures? I have a friend who harvests near is school in Virginia... but is this type of thing a possibility in the northeast regions or is it southern only?

Picking is dangerous unless you're VERY experienced.

well it wasn't really meant to be a joke, but haha. i was thinking the fields with the circles are probably Only crops, since the circles are from sprinkler systems right? but what about the other fields? we grow lots of cotton around here and have oil drills and other fields of stuff.... of course it may just be a matter of going out and finding a pasture and not looking online...

We don't have crop fields in Tampa...that's how haha

If you go like, maybe 100 miles in any direction (except west, that's the gulf) from the center of tampa, you'll find strawberry fields and a whole bunch of other fields as well

Orange fields are easy to tell though (we do have these in Tampa) because well...it's a fuckin' tree haha

I don't actually use it to find my fields...just when I'm bored...plus if you hear about a field there or here, you punch it in.

Field picking isn't as dangerous as you'd assume, pretty much anyone in my area (tripper or not) can identify a good mushroom. The general things we look for are: A skirt on the stem, Purple on the underside, brown nipple, growing on cow shit...and a whole bunch others (that are just unneccessary by that point...)

    Happy huntin! (again!)

    Pretty much haha

What we do is, we take 1 publix bag each (grocery store) and about 4 people, and a trash bag. You fill your publix bag, dump them into the trash bag located at the center, all 4 people spread out. Works wonders and we fill the trash bag very quickly in the summer (a little slower now and september)

Another way to do it, if the field is just off of a main road, you have 1 person stand at the front of the car pretending to look under the hood or just standing around looking like you're having trouble or whatever, while the other runs out to the field...it works, but obviously it's a lot more risky. (But sometimes the fields on I-75 are just too hard to resist...just miles and miles of cows haha)

i believe if someone did that, they'd be visiting the local mental institution...but then again some people are more normal when reality isnt present.
