Goodnight Moon by Margaret Wise Brown and Clement Hurd

This is my kids favorite bedtime story. If you have young kids, definitely get this book.

Unfortunately, I don't have happy memories of this book. It used to scare me when I was a kid. I remember the little old lady whispering "hush", or something along those lines. She just shows up in the bedroom, tells the little rabbit to be quiet, and then disappears just as quickly. That really bothered me.

    I was an odd child...

And it's a shame. I'd love to have been able to enjoy it, because I bet it's a wonderful book.

You all should also read The Runaway Bunny by the same author if you ever get the chance. It's really sweet and it's one of my absolute favorites :)
