Alright, I backcombed for the second time on Saturday, and thought about just ripping apart all of my dreads. Not entirely, just pull them apart so there's still some tangles, and some knotted up hair. I kinda want them to do their own thing, but still have a little control over them. Basically, it'd be just like taking a shortcut, right? Just wondering if ripping apart my backcombed dreads to let them dread semi-naturally would be a bad idea?
just leave them alone and let them do there thing (while ripping apart if you don't want congos) ... they will turn out better in the end
I felt the same way dude, reading stuf here made me want naturals, so im going abit half and half, dont wax or anything and they are becoming alot better this way
