Any relatively liberal college could be pretty hippie-ish. I'm going to Brandeis next year which is out in the suburbs of Boston, and it's pretty liberal and chill. Granted, it's a Jewish school, so you get the stereotypical uptigh, worrying Jews (which I'm guilty of sometimes) but the hookah club is a school sponsored club and Abbie Hoffman went there.. so yay.

Bennington, Middlebury, and Marlboro are all good too, although kind of isolated.

Lock Haven is the biggest hippie school in PA. The area is filled with mountains, rivers, and the natural environment. The school is very opened to gay/bisexuality. It's in northern PA. I was going to go there, but I was offered a 50% scholarship to a school in the ghetto of Philly, PA.

I dont think we have any "hippie" colleges in ireland.
I went to uni expecting it to be exactly that (i.e. a hippie college), but no such luck.
Lol if u can find one in europe, lemme know about it.... im going back to college in september anyway :D.

but are any of those schools REALLY easy to get into. I want to go to college but my grades suck so bad. I mean I’m 2 years behind in school. I know it's sad.

http://www.newpaltz.edu/index.cfm- I have no idea how to link to this page right. No matter what address I type in, they come up with that error message. Just click "home" and it'll work fine.

Don't be turned off by the dull website. Hippie school might be the wrong word to describe New Paltz, but the town is very hippie. The students are all a very diverse and very interesting cast of characters. It's really cheap if you're a New Yorker, but it's a hard school to get into.

The School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS), one of the colleges of the University of London. Full of free thinking people of all types (hippies, sociaists, anarchists, etc....) from around the world with lots of debates about global issues and student organised protests. Use to get stoned in the students union when I did my bachelors degree there but they've banned smoking this year, god damn! Not a bad uni either (ranked 4th best in the UK by the Guardian and 11th best in Europe by The Times Higher Education Supplement). Going back to do my masters degree this year, cant wait!

Yea i was going to apply for that last year, it seems like a great place, but then i realised they dont do the course that i want to take i think. Seems like it would be a good place to hang out however in the after-college hours. Where abouts is the campus in London? If i ever go to london to study i might go check it out :)
    peace and love
