Good first bong?

Is this a good first bong? I got it about a week ago they didnt ask for any papers to be signed or nothing. Its kinda small so i can hide it from my parents well.My friend broke the stem though... I use a sneak-a-toke for the stem.I wanted to order another bowl the the bong but..what size is the joint? 14.5 or 18.5? (Link below)
I named it Venom cause once when I was blown as fuck I swear I saw spider-man and spider-man's enemy is Venom and he is black and white...so yeah.

pretty good first day I got it me and a few friends got half a ounce and smoked that all..it was pretty dirty but when do I clean out the bong water?

 

before each session is always a good rule of thumb...

nice lookin bong btw.. good choice too.. something smaller, plus it was relatively cheap, so if your parents find it and break it.. at least you didnt lose that much money

 

always clean the bong water after ever sesh. and clean the bong every two weeks to keep the smell down

 

its not really the smell of a dirty bong, but the fact that just sucking air through it will taste nasty.

nice bong, i prefer em taller, but nice for travel, looks squat and sturdy

Somewhat unrelated: In a high times a while back, an advertised product was a rubber pad that sticks to/protects the base of a glass bong. However, i couldnt find the article. anyone know such a protective decive? (like a rubber coaster that sticks on)

 

14 and 18 millimeter joints generally refer to glass-on-glass joints, not slides.


most sliding bowls are the same size, and should fit.

 

ok its in my ceiling hiding from my parents so im not worried about the smell but I havnt cleaned it since I got it.....do I have to or is it just recommended like will it break it?

Clean in at your convenience, but probably change the water EVERYTIME you smoke. Cleaning won't break it unless you are He-Man or a klutz.
