gonna trip for the first time tonight!

like the title says, i'm trying salvia for the first time tonight. i'm gonna try one decent hit of 5X extract from a bong.

i plan to NOT have a sitter. before anyone jumps on me for saying that, whenever i take a substance i prefer to do it alone. if i'm with other people then i get self conscious, paranoid, and have a bad experience. with something as powerful as salvia i don't want to have a bad trip.

i told my parents that i will be smoking salvia (they're fine with me taking drugs as long as i tell them), i told them what'll probably happen, how long it will last for and to check on me if they smell smoke or hear something break etc.

anything else i should do?

ps - i'll start a stopwatch so i can see how long the trip lasted. also i've looked at lots of experience reports on here and on erowid.

 

I did it alone my fist few times... but I would really highly not recomend that. Forget everything you know about being paranoid (as if you were smoking weed or anything). This is not at all like that. If you have a sitter with you, it won't bother you for one reason. You WILL NOT KNOW THEY ARE THERE. As a matter of fact, there will be no more you for a while, let alone the reality your living right now.

Just take it slow, be safe, and learn a bit..

 

i did it. just finished my trip.

one word describes the whole thing - wierd.


i started off feeling slightly drunk where i couldn't walk properly. i kept thinking that i wasn't feeling anything and that i hadn't held the smoke in for long enough, so i grabbed a pipe that i got given as a present from my grandma when she was traveling the world and smoked some out of that. i smoked between 1/5 and 1/4 of a gram in total.

suddenly after i had put down the pipe i looked at my tv. i saw 5 or 6 large rectangles coming off it. each rectangle was about a metre long. the rectange seemed to be the entrance to another reality. then i looked at the wall behind this mysterious rectangle and even though i kept looking at the same point on the wall i somehow saw how it looked from a birds eye view. i saw that behind that wall it was another reality. then the rectangles that were coming off the tv started to fade into that reality. the best way to describe it is that it was like a clock when the second hand is at 12. as the second hand goes round the numbers that it passes turn into this new reality and by the time that you get round to 12 again you are in this reality.

i felt a little wierd so i sat on my bed and closed my eyes. this reality was so real and even though it felt like a dream i couldn't wake up. i told myself that it would be over in 15 minutes, suddenly i saw a thing that i didn't know what it was but deep down inside i knew it was the salvia goddess. she was a square of white fur which had been cut horizontally into 7 strips. i snuggled up in bed and waited for it to end. but after 3 or 4 minutes (real time) i felt like i was really stoned but didn't have much of a buzz or the cottonmouth that i always get. then it started to feel sooooo good. i felt very cold but i didn't care cos i felt so damn good. then the trip faded off and i lay there in bed feeling very tired for 5 minutes. i just went downstairs to give my mum back her lighter and here i am giving my trip report to the salvia forum.

i had made a playlist of relaxing music on my ipod that i was playing through my speakers but it actually led to me almost having a bad trip on salvia. the songs that make me relax in reality didn't make me relax in the salvia realm.

while i was tripping i kept saying in my head "i will never take any drug ever again" but then another voice kept arguing saying "think of all the great times you have had so far and how many more you will have".

i heard voices in my head, had closed eye visuals and had open eye visuals.

thanks everyone for general advice on salvia. through my trip i kept feeling sorry for the people who abuse the salvia goddess as i only smoked 1/4 gram of 5X and was terrified, and some idiot will smoke a whole gram of 20X on their first go.

even though i was startled at how wierd it all felt, i would definately do it again.

 

i decided to dance with lady salvia again tonight. i was a little annoyed that my lighter was barely producing a flame and so didn't heat the salvia enough to feel the full effects.


i don't know why but it felt like i had just smoked half a joint of cannabis. i felt the 'push' and had mild closed eye visuals.

i'm quite glad that i didn't have a full trip like last time. i think that last trip was a 4 on the salvia scale. i think this was a 2. i'll try and get a solid 4 next time as i found i was too freaked out by the trip to learn anything, at least now i know more about what i am dealing with.

 

salvia isnt really that fun. A good 4 g blunt o wubang will do you much better.
