i just need to get to oregon already, it's really ridiculous. i'm going by myself, because i know i'll figure it out once i get there, and i feel the need for a bit of autonomy right now. and my friends can't go...(!) so anyways, i'm flying into portland. any suggestions on where i should stay? are there hostels? i won't be camping, and i don't have much money. i will eventually find some friends of friends, but for the meantime. does anyone know the situation with staying on a college campus in a dorm room for minimal charge? i wonder about that; i have a friend that'll be doing that at reed college. i'll be in portland for all of one week, then off to eugene, where i REALLY want to be. same questions and concerns apply there. any advice, comments would be GREAT! thanks...
