I cannot wait to eat at a restaurant when I go to the states,

Caribbean food (sucks) is nothing like the variety of foods and restaurants in the USA.

    Going out to eat rocks.

    Haha

I actually remember this from Middle school!

I like eating out, but Im often disappointed by the food. I like small restaurants that serve good food, ethnic food. Indian, Thai, Mexican.

I've never really enjoyed the food of those big chain restaurants. Of course I can eat it, it's not bad, but it's not what I like to eat or my definition of good food.

The best restaurant I've ever been to is in DR. It's called Season's and it's a fusion gourmet restaurant, but I cant go there without my dad. I dont agree with what Unknown American says about food in the Caribbean, there's a lot of good food in DR, from all kinds of places from small cafes, to fancy restaurants. I ate out all the time when i lived back home, so I guess it really depends on where in the Caribbean you are.

I could answer that but it would require vast amounts of typing. I don't have that kind of energy right now.

But that was a good one.:cheers2:

    Perhaps I should say Belize.

I have friends here from the DR and they cook great.

Belize is a small poor country. The Fruit is incredible.

Yeah, Im not a big fan of Dominican food. Some things I like, others I dont, but there's a lot of variety of food you can get there. Usually very very good, at least in the big cities. People go out to eat very frequently.

DR is a small poor country too!! haha, but I know what you mean :p

That is the exact reason I prefer to eat at home. I HATE sounding picky when I order- and fuck veg options aren't everywhere down here and I can end up being a total PITA on accident in a restaurant...plus, I usually come bearing fussy tot- and a load of self consciousness.
It can be nice, I LOVE take out- and it IS good for the kid to get her out learning manners and eating out.I am getting better about it, but I would pretty much prefer eating at home.

i loved veggies as a kid. but i wasn't ever a really picky eater. i'm much pickier now. like, i only eat veggies :p

dean does dishes. he used to work as a dishwasher, and i do all the cooking - he has no excuse! i do them about half the time, i'm ok with that. cleaning can be therapeutic.
