I like the one part when the kid is tripping off the E in the store. and he dances with cash register lady. heh

  6. Good flick and Sarah Polley is my honey sweety pie, but I think a better "Pulp Fiction" take off is "Snatch". Just My opinion.

  7. yeah, s'awesome. I adore the supermarket E dnace, the conversation with the cat (no, C - Chiang Kei Chek) and the very last quote - "So...what are we doing for New Years?" it's great.

Did you not like simon and his mates it was prety good after he fell out the trunk... It was not realy meant as a 'honest' representation of the 'drug scene' ... it was made in 99 by people that have never taken anything stronger than a joint ... what did you expect..

    How and WHY ??

    Gee whiz its a comedy......

tis hard for me ta explain...
it was like the movie was tryin to be somethin it wasn't...

i kno there was only one guy on pills...but the whole sellin aspiran and people fallin for it-was stupid...and the drug dealer! jasus. ive met alot of em in my time...and none o them come close to that dude.

ok...twas an alright movie...like, im glad i saw it...

    but it just seemed.....fake.

and all the characters pissed me off, i just didnt like em...
and if it wer a comedy, i didnt really find it funny..

(actually...come ta think of it...that black dude was pretty cool)

but....in comparison ta other drug movies...its crap.

it just seems like an american teenage drama tryin to be somethin 'cool' to me.

It wasnt really a drug movie... I mean when you look at it like it was about drugs then yeah it sucked balls but it was about 4 people during one weekend. You'd be surprised what kids will buy. We actually got this kid to think he took speed with a carved no-doz. We stuck around with him and gave him the placebo effect (we took em too lol.) That drug dealer was a lot like some I've met... All paranoid. I've been stuck in situations where I had to "wait here for a minute" and been stuck for up to three hours, usually getting off with "If I give you his number and adress can I get outta here?" I see that shit with QP deals or Coke.... One time my friends were supposed to be getting a key-bomb for a buck a pop, real one shot. Asked me to come but I was working. It fell through cause the guy wouldn't show them first and it "smelled wrong." Like literally that was their excuse. "It smelled to clean for a druggies house. Place was all neat too"

perhaps tis the whole americanness of it all....

    i cant relate....

i donno...did ya not just feel there was somethin off about that movie?

it was tryin ta be somethin, with all its twists and cool editin....

but it jst didnt make it.

like in comparison ta say...lock stock and two smokin barrells...
    or any other great movie...

    go doesnt even compare.

can anyone see wha im sayin?

i aint good at explainin myself....

I dig what your saying. It aspired to be a sort of Pulp Fiction type of movie where it goes back but falls short of being what Pulp acomplished. I'm sayingto hold it in seperate regaurd from other great films. It was a good movie. Not fabulous. Good. It was enjoyable

before we suck all the life out of this film can we not just say it is a slightly flawed film with old refrences

    'whatsup'
    'fatboy slim'
    'raves'

and just say that it was a cut above the usual teenage fodder .... and prety funny if you like this sort of thing ..... gee whiz.

    and its got
