Go-to cookbook

    What's yours? I've used LAUREL'S KITCHEN a lot and also Moosewood. I grew up with only one non-vegetarian cookbook entitled THE AMERICAN JEWISH COOK BOOK. These days I consult a couple of different books on rice and bean recipes.

    I'm not vegetarian, but I used to collect cookbooks! But now you can find anything you want to cook on the internet, I'm bad about printing but my daughter keeps her favorite recipes bookmarked on her tablet

    I lived in Ithaca, New York, the home of Moosewood Restaurant, from 1970 through 1990. I always loved going there. I also like Mollie Katzen's "Vegetable Heaven".
