Gnomes Have Right's Too! Let's bring those Travelocity Fuckers down!!

We have all seen the commercials. Travelocity exploiting the Roaming Gnome and exposing him to violent, potentially fatal hazards on the job all for a cheap laugh. He's been strapped onto the top of a speeding taxi in the middle of a bustling city street with only goggles to shield him from the elements, electrified and left alone to die in a hotel room, run over repeatedly by a luggage cart in a hotel lobby and, as you can see from the picture below-used as a luggage rack AROUND HIS FRAGILE NECK!! This kind of abuse is tragic and shocking. A perfect example of how corporations treat their employees-especially the blatant racism against Gnomic employees.
Please visit www.travelocity.com and contact them, petitioning their abuse of the Roaming Gnome. These images are sending violent messages to YOUR CHILDREN in the guise of a funny, seemingly harmless commercial.
Stand up for your Gnome Brothers and Sisters. DEMAND EQUALITY FOR ALL.

Dear Travelocity:

The Gnomic Coalition is shocked and dismayed by your brutal abuse of your employee, The Roaming Gnome. Gnomes have origins in history as old as humans. They are a peaceful race, who live quietly and in harmony with their human neighbors. They are simple folk who just live off the land and have done no harm to any race of people.

Yet, when you portray senseless acts of violence to the Roaming Gnome (such as running him over in a hotel lobby or electrifying him) all for a cheap laugh, it belies a very ugly message: that is perfectly acceptable to ABUSE a Gnome.
ABUSE IS NEVER ACCEPTABLE AND IS NEVER A LAUGHING MATTER.

Images depicting Gnome violence can send a message to the fragile minds of children that what they are seeing is acceptable and funny and the fact is: it's not. Such irresponsibility is completely abhorrent in a major corporation.

Is your Gnome Employee treated differently than your other employees because he's Gnomic? Does he have his own parking space (being your spokesperson) or does he have to ride strapped to the top of the Taxi? Does he have Insurance? Is he offered the same benefits as your other employees?

I think you should reexamine the message you are sending to your audience. As for myself and the other members of the North American Gnomic Coalition (and our sister franchise in Europe) we will be boycotting your company and your subsidiaries.

At the annual Gnomic Coalition Convention (this year held in lovely Sweden) we will be discussing ways to send a better, more positive message to the world about the peaceful clan of Gnomes, in an effort to undo the damage to Gnome reputations your company has portrayed.

The North American Gnomic Coalition (and the sister franchise in Europe "The European Gnomic Coalition") is a dedicated group of people sympathetic to the Gnomic race and their rights in this human-oriented society. It's about time we all worked together on this and also on the Elf abuse too.
I had the pleasure of working with a team in Canada that exposed the Elf abuse going on up North. The Asian Elves are abused far more right now since they make the Electronic Toys and Game Systems for The Holidays that flood our stores. There is also a Teen Group being formed on making teens aware that the games they play are made in Elven Sweat Shops and the abuses that are involved to make them available.
