    hey guys [IMG]

just randomly thought up this poem when i was looking at what i wrote when i was on glastonbury tor 2 years ago lol

would love some opinions on it thanks [IMG]

    Tall and majestic,
    it spans the horizon
    a dazzling island
    A beacon of light
    guiding me its way.

    The beauty stirs my soul
My heart wants to take flight.
    Its power calls from afar
    mirroring the ancient stars.
Feel the pull like a silken thread,
as the magick stirs all my hopes and dreads

Images are called up in my mind
    of long lost ancient times,
of swirling winds on stormy climbs
    and quiet wondering starry nights.

What was it like in a time so long ago,
when magick and mystery could so freely flow.
Fairies weave their spells here so they say,
    on the eight festival days.

Give thanks to the makers of this land,
who created such a marvel with their own fair hands.

Though now we live in different times,
where magick has been left behind
Climb the Tor and you will see,
its still here for you and me.

    peace and love

Magick is not dead. It's thread is now only buried deeper beneath veils alike of the banal observations of empiricists and the quackery of opportunistic New Agers.

You seem to have indeed caught a whiff of it on that fabled isle. Your So(u)l now blends there, a whiff of mist, inhaled again in a literary trist.

I appreciate the sentiment, no matter how unworthy it may seem to the Mystic or the Logician.

    ;)
