Why gays and lesbians can not get married. The reason must be non-religious, so saying because God says its wrong won't work, because your religion is not law. It must be fair and objective, so turning the question around and asking why anyone should be allowed to marry or want to marry won't work, because your personal OPINION is not law. I really want to know what reason there is besides religion. I'm not denying there might be a reason, I want to know.
The homosexual community has no rational agency upon which to base the right. There is a great conversation on the matter here http://www.hipforums.com/forums/showthread.php?t=39942&page=1&pp=10 it starts off a little randomly but ends strongly in my opinion.
Please elaborate.. what do you mean by rational agency? I'm not trying to cause arguments.. I've just never had this explained to me in a way that didn't involve religion and personal prejudices. Nevermind, I was posting that as you were editing to include the link.
