Give me my guitar mic’d to the reel recording chords, orchestral oceans and syntho-pop in basso tone Give me an endtable with a dark shade lamp for ambient flush to light my pad, my pen, feeding off this bottle of rose blush Give me anything but another girl, a delicious darling, heart heating supernovas with tongue tangled dancing cobras Give me anything but her
I think I may have something to learn from this lol. I loved music + playing my bass + life in bands and on the road. But wimmin did sortta complicate things lol. But then again, I loved the groupies . Sorry you feel bad + for your loss though. And, yeah, in band days, diamond white mixed with Thunderbird Red was a big part of my life. and when it came out, Diamond blush. I like your poetry and can relate from memories far past.
thanks for the comments! those days aren't too far in the past, but they are behind me now and I'm way happier for it, and I did learn alot from it. I don't know what it is, but I've been in a lot of relationships and this last one made the others seem miniscule. at least things are now going in the direction that they were before she arrived, and I got a whole lot of memories to work with. she always wanted to be famous; perhaps I'll make her so. I don't think she'll be too happy about it, though... lol

'but another girl, a delicious darling, heart heating supernovas' Fulmah, although you and I come from completely different parts of the writing universe, now and then our paths cross. I liked these lines. Playful imagery that tickles the tongue as you climb with the lines. Write on!
Eloquent words...they really draw the reader in and make them feel a part of the poem. I could really relate.
