As you know, I post a few light hearted comments, but they are generally only to members who already know me.

I get getting a vibe, I do too, but checking a few things.. "paying attention".. makes it easier to not make false accusations.

Thanks for your support, This one took me completely by surprise, particularly when you look at the comment I posted that triggered the whole thing.
The internet can be a weird place at times.

It’s not the internet that’s wierd, it’s some people that GET on the internet that are freakin insane.

 

No offence taken, we all jump to wrong conclusions at times.
You may not have discovered yet, but their are numerous threads started by people who open an account, post one thread and never log on again. I call them the "one post wonders".
My original comment was simply to point out to a fairly new member that he was replying to one of these posts from someone who posted an introduction in 2012 and has not been seen since.

i make posts when i have something in mind.

 

I am surprised that you have not com across any or these "one posts" such as this thread OP before. Most of them a quite provocative and I suspect that the person set up their account when they were quite drunk and even if they remembered about it the next day, they would have forgotten their password. I also think that many of them were less than honest about their gender.
I often take up to half an hour to post a reply when someone is asking for advice, particularly on medical issues where I an concerned that they are putting themselves at risk. If you now take a look at the "penis" link I sent you, all will be obvious.
If the original post is quite old, I click on the avatar to check that they are still around.
With a single click, I can see that you have been a member for 3 months, responded to 299 posts and were online earlier today. I do not check up on people as a habit, but if you are ever in doubt about a member, It is a good guide
Hopefully you will continue spending time on HF and chatting to us. I can assure you that neither I or any of the members who have joined in on this thread will bare any grudges. HF is not that type of site.
I must start preparing for my 70th birthday party now.......Joke.......Hopefully I can just forget all about it. LOL.
