Ginseng I think is probably the single biggest overlooked psychoactive substance out there in america. It gets a bad rap at times because it comes from chinese medicine, so I think alot of people think it's just another placebo herb. Also because in grocery stores they sell extracts of ginseng and ginseng pills which are actually not real ginseng, or are so dilluted they have no effect. So very few people get real ginseng. But real ginseng is an incredibly strong psychoactive and physical stimulant. In all honesty it's as strong as amphetamine. It doesn't have the same euphoric qualities as other stimulants, but in terms of energy, it gives you a ton of energy. It is by far my favorite stimulant. It also actually does make your brain function better. Not in the crazy cracked out way cocaine or other stimulants do. It actually makes your brain sharper for normal sane pondering and thinking. Best of all. It's actually healthy for you... and it's one of those substances, like marijuana, where the toxicity is so low you can literally take thousands of times a normal dose and still live But this is real ginseng I'm talking about, not extracts in bottles or pressed pills. Find some ground ginseng root powder or the whole roots. And pay attention to the exact plant your buying, theres like 6 different plants sold as 'ginseng', some of them not ginseng at all. The best one is Panax Ginseng (sold as korean or chinese red ginseng typically) and also Panax Quinquefolius is pretty good (sold as american white ginseng).
we used to dig that up when hunting morels.. slow day turns into rapid transit.. Fresh is where its at.. Not for the faint HEARTED..
they sell these little bottles with a root soaking in some stuff around some places where i live. they look good. and at the 99 cent store they got these little shots that come with a straw, but i tried those, they didnt seem to do much and tasted like butt.
