Getting closer to harnessing the LSA molecule. A cold water extraction is used to remove the LSA. Powdered seeds soaked in a double volume of cold water in the fridge for 1 hr with shaking every 15min. The solution is strained many times through a clean fine mesh strainer to remove excess sediment. The solution is basified to ph8 using a digital ph meter and clear non sudsy ammonia. A 1:6 naphtha to water is shaken for 5min in a closed lid jar and seperated in a ziplock baggie. The process is repeated 3x using fresh naphtha solvant for each pull. The combined naphtha pulls are gathered together and evaporated on a large glass baking dish with fan. The residue is scraped and reconstituted at 1mg LSA freebase per 1ml ph5 vodka lime juice solution. The possibilty of concentrating 20mg LSA per 1ml ph 5 vodka lime juice solution will make 1mg LSA per drop of solution. This would of course need to be tested.
