Getting rid of weed smell from bag?

So I sometimes carry my weed around in a backpack, and I have noticed that even when I don't have weed in the bag it still smells like it from when I did. What is the best way to air out the bag and get rid of the smell that seems to stick around? Any suggestions would be great. Thanks.

that stuff destroys smells!
it will come in handy for more than your bag, too.

Those tree air fresheners for the cars work nice. But I'd try washing it before that...
