Hi, i know this thread doesnt belong here but i didnt know where to write it so hey! Well, 2 weeks ago i broke up with my gf and it really affected me, till this day i been trying to get over her but i cant for some reason. Once in this forum i read that to get over someone you have to keep yourself busy so just to follow that i decided to go to the gym and work out.
As i really want to go to the gym coz i need it, i wanted to know how long does it take to loose 20 kilos and get a 6 pack? at the moment im 5ft7 and i weight 89 kilos. Maybe going there may help me gettin over my ex.

    Thanks

the reason things didn't work out with your gf isn't because you don't have a six pack it's most likely because you aren't compatible why don't you spend your time reading or taking some classes and develop interests girls go for smart guys who are knowledgable long before they go for astheically perfect ones.

Do you still have pictures and stuff that reminds you of your gf? I heard that when you get rid of (or at least put away) all of the stuff that reminds you of your ex then it will really be over. I don't have any pics of my gf's
Acctually it's kinda sad when you think about it.
Ironically the only gf I had to get over broke my heart.
The one I'll never get over......well I broke my own heart there.

Yeah, it's good to just stay busy and distract yourself... Eventually you won't think about her anymore, not very much anyway... As far as a sixpack... Getting the muscle is pretty easy, it's just having a low enough % body fat for it to show up... Losing 20 kilos could take a while... (Thats a lot of weight to lose... You sure you need to lose all that? )

love is crazy. i know how you feel, but you wont always feel like that, and eventually you'll start to like other people, its always hard at first. as well as busying yourself, a little positive thinking can help. remind yourself how great you are! you've got sooo much life ahead of you and so many more opportunities and people to go out with. :) funny that you're going to the gym! i got my gym membership just after i had been dumped.

imo, working out is the best way to get over a girl. it'll give you mucho confidence in yourself, which in turn will find you a new girl(s), which will help you completely forget your old gf. she'll be like yesterdays news bro.

dont worry about what it'll take, just go there and work yourself till it burns like 5 days a week.

just a guys view...worked for me.;)

Break ups are never fun, but you broke up with her there must have been a reason for it. For some reason it hurts more to break up with someone then get broken up with (or maybe its just me). You prolly just miss all the good times and what not....Try to get your mind off things but don't try too hard just kinda except the fact that what happend has happend and you did what you needed to do. For a while yeah you'll feel bad, but you can't stay unhappy forever. It'll be ok *HUGS*
