getting metal instruments shoved into your twat

so um today was my first pap smear

i wasn't too concerned, it was a routine thing and my shit smells like roses but anyways

when she swabbed me it felt like i was getting stabbed
and it is SOOOO. sore.
OW. OW.
i don't know if she was using a drill or whaddafuck
it was way worse than a dentist visit fersure
but then she told me my shit looked fucking fantastic, and i most likely don't have the herps or nothing lol

just wanted to tell a story

Were you tense?
I always just try to relax and be as open as possible and it doesn't hurt. I only feel a little sting.

Did it hurt you while she went in with the instrument or at the moment, when she took the sample?

a pap shouldnt hurt. its always going to be uncomfortable though. it would be different if it were a biopsy, those would hurt, but a pap shouldnt IMO. i have only had one painful pap- and it was a military doctor, they dont give a shit if they hurt you.

 

I don't mind a pap smear..well, I take that back. I hate them and I'm 4 months late rescheduling an OB appointment because I've been putting it off, but they don't hurt me.

Mine have never hurt, just feel weird/uncomfortable and over in 2 seconds. But, I always make sure they use the pediatric speculum. Have you seen the adult sized one?? Holy shit, its as big as a baby's head!!! My gyn said she only uses pediatric ones, there's no reason to get it that open.

Now, getting my IUD put in....whole 'nother story!!!!!

 

If you ever have a biopsy, a pap smear is just a tickle. Sorry yours was too rough.
