Getting laptop

Hey im getting a laptop and I have a choice b/t Gateway or HP. Most say Hp, but I want your guys opinions

 

Gateway products are very easy to break. HP is better, but still weak.

Said from experience. Every HP I have ever fixed has had hardware problems in it's 3rd year of operation. HP offers a lot of bundled software, but it is of no use if the hardware always fails.

 

i know nothing about computers except my older brother does. he bought me ths labtop im using and its an hp. its very nice and works really good. i never dropped it or have broken it, and its very nice looking.

 

i think you should go with Hp.

 

now whats the deal with Sony? Is it worth the price? Bit expensive, and how about the Mac?

 

Sony is just the average brand.

Mac is the highest quality you can buy, hardware and software.

 

If Gateway are still like they were 7 years ago get a gateway I bought a desktop 7 years ago a pentium 3, and i still use it for stuff regularly, where my HP laptop I bought 4 years ago died a few months back

 

Well I got a sony vaio and its great, I really like it. I got a router and its a pain to set up :/
