Ok i got fuckin busted last night for the second time and im pretty sure its cuz they snooped on me hardcore... ok anyway i was at work and i called my mom to ask if i could go out after with my buddy who works just down the mall but she asked to just come home for like 10 mins first...

So i come home and both my rents are sitting at the kitchen table lookin kinda pissed, so i sit down and they immediately start lecturing on weed... basically they said if i was like at a party or something i could do it as long as its not during the day or during the week or w/e... I cant smoke in my house or anything but maybe il start woprking on that... But anyway to the real point of the story... I came downstairs after hanging out with my buddy and my compie's shut off... Now that means either my mom, my dad or my sister were on it cuz i NEVER shut it off... Well my sister wasnt there so it was obviously my rents and when i got on my account was the last one visited (if they were doing online banking or something alse they would use my dads account.)

Since i have hipforums in my favourites and also all over my history im pretty sure that they snooped and found some of my posts cuz my hiding place for my weed stuff was untouched. Now im just wondering if theres any definitive way to tell if they were on my account last night or if i just have to confront them... Remember this is MY pc and my dad has his own laptop so they shouldnt have been on it.. If i find out they snooped im honestly gonna flip out on them.

 

Sorry dude but your 16, your parents own you in all forms until your 18. As your parents they are more then allowed to go threw your shit if they think it's in your best interest.

as a teen in this situation i can second that.

spend a lot of time getting information and shit about how weed isnt bad for you and fight the good fight. if all fails at least you can just sneak around and be a rebel... after a while of that they might give in. if not then you have problems.

I know my folks can barely use computers. My mom has basic knowledge since she uses them for work but my dad is brutal when it comes to anything but the net.

Most modern computers run on considerably low power, or have powersave options. I know my computer is super EnergyStar compliant and I leave my shit on all the time. Thisisme, next time just set it up so they have to put in your password to wake your computer from the screensaver if you have one.

Not sure how to check if they were on the forums on a pc.
