whats everyones favorite german beer? im gonna be going to bevmo soon (its a huge alcohol store with tons of different kids of beer) and was looking for a few ideas for good german beer thanks
I do not know of any good german beers but if you ever want a beer that goes good with pizza buy some peroni. it is a italian beer. why do you want a german beer so bad? oh and if you wanna try a GREAT mexican beer then try out Modelo. One of my favorite beers.

Bitburger is pretty commercial. So is Becks. Should find them in a store. I've tried coors, bud and Sam Adams before. Good move gettin off the yank grog.
my bad i meant to reply to your post earlier but left for work and i forgot. ive heard of hefenweizen i believe, i think my dad has had it before but ill look for that one to. have you heard of warsteiner? i heard that ones good
ya ive tried those to. i was drinking bud light the other night and boy did it taste like urine. ill have no more of that!!
heifenweizen is a good type of beer, but not a specific brand. the three that i mentioned all make a heifenweizen.
I flew into austria in 05 for a week. We drank nothing but beer the whole time and I couldn't tell you a name of a single one. lol. None of us on the trip could speak german... Hands down though the beer the whole trip was so good. Better than any local brews i've had in the US.
Wow, no one said the two most popular. If you like dark ones then go with the previously mentioned. If You like beers almost like coors/budweiser then: SPÄTEN!!! Warsteiner is popular too, I don't like it as much though. EDIT spaten is my fav beer, eber...
