"Brain Droppings" and "When Will Jesus Bring The Porkchops" are the only two ive read. but i think he has one or two more out. anyone else like him? i thought they were pretty funny.
I absolutely love George Carlin. My favourite has to be an album of his, on which is "I Used to be an Irish Catholic". Hilarious.
Saw him live here, he was amaz-za-zing. Have all the books, and audio, vhs- (hbo special, etc) and he is quite the king.
I've never read his book, but he came to my campus last year or something and I guess he offended so many people that about half of the people in the theatre walked out and requested that the school never let him come back. Kind of makes me curious.
I saw him live a few months ago and almost peed myself. He's freakin' hilarious. (I grew up listening to I Used to Be an Irish Catholic.)
Love his stand-up stuff and i've got several of his albums but i've never read any of his books. Guy was a fantastic stand up tho..much missed.
I would like to read brain droppings. I read Napalm & silly Putty & When will Jesus bring the porkchops. I know what I posted last night was a little oopsie, but oh well.
I read this when I was like... eleven. My grandparents had it on their shelf. Pretty inappropriate for an eleven-year-old, but a genius book nonetheless!
i've seen a few performances of his. all of them were damn funny. he's a great comedian. but i haven't read any book written by him.
Really, inspiring? Everyone always seems to give him such glowing reviews. I've seen some of him performing, and it always seems so pessimistic. I can't even listen to it for more than like 15 minutes without feeling sooo dragged down. I seems to have an underlying, "we're all doomed" theme all the time. Maybe I've just seen exactly the wrong parts of his performances? I really liked his bit on the baseball diamond versus the football gridiron but for the most part it's really meh. Someone link a video of him being the least bit uplifting I beg of you!
