I wont get into any of the specifics of my dreams, they are way way too messed up (yes a dream specialist and counselor told me this too).

But I do have a general dream question.

I got to thinking today about something I heard a long long time ago (think it was on a batman cartoon) that you cannot read things in your dream. Is this true? And if it is, why?

I got to thinking about my own dreams and realize that my dreaming mind avoids me having to read. There are never any street signs or billboards in my dreams. If I get the mail or am at a resturant I toss the mail aside or don't need to look at the menu because i know what I want. If I am in a familiar setting like a cafe that I generally go to in real life, the menu's on the wall are no longer there in my dream. What is that all about?

I have read things in dreams. Now I have never had a dream where I read an entire book or anything. I have, however, had dreams about driving and been able to read the road signs

Now this throws a light on the nature of letters as much.

I guess we were able to read them, if this was what we truly wanted.

In dream we travel with the energy, and are as immidiate ... getting aware of a million letters or puzzle pieces all at the same time, like of another sparkling facet of the greater whole of who we are ... letters of the soul that we love to recognize.

I don't do math either (in dreams) !
