I hereby nominate Gavin Newsom for President in 2024. I think he would be unbeatable and shouldn't wait until 2028. We need him now that it looks like any Republican can beat Biden. Newsom has everything we could want; liberal, young, charisma, experience, less baggage, etc. Is he too liberal? Nah! His other assets will outweigh it. And try to beat him in a debate. The problem is, that even Convicted Felons can run for President as long as they are Natural Born Americans, even if they can't vote because of the felony conviction. That being said, if Trump does take office again, he can expunge all of his convictions.

Yeah he’s got the charisma, looks and that’s cool that he’s willing to ‘“temporarily” gerrymander all the districts within my state to counter Texas. But honestly as a lifelong Californian and registered non-party voter he’s not been a good governor for California. He just blows in the wind whatever direction gives him the most campaign contributions just like the rest of them. Meanwhile I’m sure your aware of just how expensive it is to live here. Yes, he’s not as bad as what we have in the white power house now, but is this as good as we can do?. The bar just keeps getting lower. When you have to vote for someone you really don’t care for just to make sure the other candidate doesn’t win, that tells me that things are spiraling down to the point of no return.
