i recently tried this with my girlfriend's step cousin's older brother(HAHA WOW) i put the mask on and he gave me a huge shotgun off a blunt and i got royally up-fuckeded
my friend has a gas mask, he got it offline for 40$ and were the filter does he put a 12 inch acrylic bong with slide. it was the best, accept u reak after wards and ur eyes are FUCKED
Yeah, a few months ago, some friends and I rigged up a poster tube, good sized bowl and my gas mask. It's a three person job, though. One person lights, while the other fills the tube up as much as he can, and when he gives the signal, they put the tube over the input of the mask, and shotty it in. The whole mask fills up with smoke, and that's all you breathe. Looks like a dragon exhaling, too.
my dad told me about something my uncle built called a suicide bong. It sucks the smoke through the bong using a vaccum motor, and into a gas mask you wear.
I've seen gas mask bongs in head shops before, i always wanted to smoke out of one, too damn bad i haven't had the chance yet.
The idea a mask-type of pipe isn't actually new. In the late 60's/early70's, "head" or "psychedelic" shops were around, but not as common, nor with the wide-range of creative "paraphenalia" designs today. Alot of water pipes and bongs were "homemade", plus many makeshift regular pipe designs. "Make-shift" pipe designs, like: the APPLE PIPE, which is made from an apple! On the stem part of the apple, you simply carve a bowl-shape into it (like pumpkin carving), poke a breathing channel into the bottom of the bowl, from the side of the apple and finally, use a small piece of aluminum foil, as a bowl (with pinpricked holes). Nice apple flavor! Plus, you can eat the evidence (except the aluminum foil piece)! The small soda pop can, or plastic bottle pipe is even easier. You just dent a bowl shape into the side of the can or bottle, near the bottom and add pinprick holes into the aluminum can. With the plastic bottle, you need some kind of metal bowl, or pipe, because the plastic may burn, then your "huffing" the plastic fumes! Not good! Waterpipes can be made with a big gallon wine bottle, with a rubber cork (and two holes drilled into it). A straight brass pipe to a big plumbing "compression fitting" bowl (with added pipe screen). Another brass pipe, but bent in the middle (about 30-40 degrees angle) is put about 1/2", past the bottom the cork. At the bend use a 1/2" diameter flexible plastic tube (about 3' long). Basically made from hardware items! Chemical-ware can also used, like boiling flasks, glass pipes and so forth. The "original" bong was supposedly from Vietnam, and made from a bamboo stalk part. PVC piping and acrylic tubes could be used to make "homemade" bongs. Plumbing parts again. But the main unique pipe, is the the oxygen mask pipe. An old army cook (turned hippie, after military service) that I knew, designed it. You take the basic "oxygen mask" (as seen in many medical shows), add a metal pipe that is slowly curved into a 90 degree bend. Then, add one half of an enclosed screw on bowl (maybe some sort of plumbing part). Add a similarily bent, metal pipe to the top half of the screw on, enclosed bowl. Together, the two pipes, should look like an "S" shape. With the pipe unscrewed, you add your smoking material, put the mask on your face and light the bowl. Quickly, screw the other bowl-half and pipe on. The "receiver" (or "toker") puts his mouth and nose tightly into the oxygen mask. The "sender" puts his mouth on the other pipe end, and blows hard. A rush of smoke goes up the receivers nose and/or mouth! This is sort of like the old "shotgun" joint method, done by two people, mouth to mouth! The "oxygen mask" hit is powerful!!! The "gas mask"-bong hybrid pipe is just a newer version of the old "oxygen mask" pipe idea from the early 70's. Now, with the cool and creative pipe designs at your local "head" and "psychedelic" shops, you don't have to bother making your own "homemade" designs, like the old hippie days! Unless you have some new type, "experimental" design! Of course, the "vaporizers" are a fairly new design. One cool glass waterpipe design I bought in the 70's, from a "head" shop, had a yelow glass bubble over an orange glass bubble. The bottom bubble was the waterpipe part, while the top glass bubble was put on after lighting the bowl, to enclose the smoke escaping from the lit bowl, to help "conserve' pot smoke! Today, there are many "cool" designs. Quite creative and even beautiful works of art! "Under dreaming spice, to Itchycoo Park that's where I've been, What did you do there? I got High." . . . . They word great, my buddy had rigged an old russian mask up to a simple plastic bong. Only trouble is the constant smoke in the eyes....
I haven't used a "gas mask" per se, but I have used something similar. I took a baseball hat put it over my face while someone blew a shotgun into the hat with a blunt while I just breathed deeply. I was fucked for hours.
You can get the masks for 5-10 bucks at a surplus store. I suggest putting on goggles to protect your eyes from all the smoke... I actually got a psuedo gas mask (like teh ones pilots use)that only covers the mouth and nose. We hooked up the end tube to stretchy surgical tubing, melted the two together, and hooked the surgical tubing over the tip of a pipe.
Im thinking about buying one, from what i hear, they work good. Plus, my mom told me stories about my dad smoking out of one.
i didnt read all the posts...too lazy...but this one time...my friend came over and we were out in my garage...hes got a motorcyle and i was like dude...bring your helmet in here (it was one with the fold up and down shield or w/e) and well i would take a huge ass hit..and then put the helmet on...and let all the smoke out with the helmet on and it would all stay in the helmet and i would just keep breathing it in and shit...it was great..got us both fucked up really quick lol...whenever we opened the masks it was cool cuz like a cloud of smoke rolled out haha
